Sound limits

There is a 96db sound limit for all bikes and quads operating in the dome. This is important since The Extreme Sports Dome is located within a very short distance of homes and other businesses. We need to be a good neighbor and the best way to do that is keep the noise down.

If your bike exceeds the 96db limit you may not be allowed to ride.

If you think your bike may exceed the 96db limit there are allot of things you can do. Most of them are free or under $50!!

You can now rent a db Dawg for $5 for the day or purchase one for $25

1) Use a, properly maintained, stock exhaust system.

All, properly maintained, stock exhaust systems meet the 96db limit. If you have an aftermarket exhaust system, put the stock one back on. If you no longer have the stock exhaust you can usually purchase one on eBay for a fraction of what a new aftermarket exhaust costs.

2) A properly maintained exhaust system is:

1) Free of cracks large dents or holes
2) Properly mounted with all stock hardware and gaskets
3) Freshly packed. A freshly packed muffler is substantially quieter, better performing, and both cheap and easy to do.

3) If you need to repack your muffler and not sure how to do it click the link below for complete step-by-step instructions and pictures from Transworld Motocross.
